Irish Payment Provider Profiles and Comparison TablePosted by: Dave on Jul 16, 2009 Tagged in: online payments , ireland

Up until now the compare the providers section has only listed the Online Payment Providers who work with Irish Merchants. The intention for this section of the site was to provide information on each of the providers in a manner that is easy to access and easy to compare. Implementing this was quite a large undertaking so we made the decision to focus on PSPs at first and when this is completed we will move onto Payment Bureaus.
Over the past few weeks we have been adding company profiles for all of the Payment Service Providers (PSPs). We have now completed detailed company profiles for the 6 payment service providers who work with Irish merchants.
We want to say thank you to all of the PSPs for taking the time to complete our questionnaire and working with me to produce the company profiles. We would not have been able to produce such detailed profiles without their input and guidance.
Today we have published a comparison table that allows you to easily compare the service offerings from each provider. We believe this will be particularly useful for anyone who is new to online payments. For example if you have a Merchant Service Agreement with a particular financial institution you can look at the banks and payment methods section in the comparison table to see which PSPs you can work with. If you are in the process of choosing an e-commerce platform then the E-commerce and Shopping Carts Section in the comparison table will help you with this decision.
We believe this resource to be of great value to anyone working with online payments so if you like what you see then please help us to reach as many people as possible by linking to this site.
Thank you,
Dave
