Epicenter is a 3 day software conference and expo. It takes place in Trinity College Dublin between Wednesday 26th and Friday 28th of August. The conference is organised by IrishDev.com which have been responsible for successful Irish technology conferences in the past. Epicenter has 74 sessions which divided into 4 streams - Java, Web, Open Source and Microsoft. The Web zone has some sessions related to application security and online payments which I know will interest some of the readers of this blog.
- Eoin Keary (Ernst & Young) - OWASP Application Security Verification Standard
- David Rook (Realex Payments) - Web 2.0 Security Risks (Part 1 & Part 2)
Epicenter are also holding Open Vendor Sessions which are free to attend for all conference delegates and exhibition visitors. Johnathan Ford from Realex Payments will be conducting an Open Vendor Session on Integrating to Realex Payments.
All of these sessions discussed above are on Wednesday 26th - you can find full details on epicenter.ie. Early bird tickets start from €99 and are available until 6pm on Friday August 21st.
