Realex Payments win new business and as a result are hiring to fill 15 new open positions. This includes development, sysadmin, business and support roles.

 

Online Payments company Paypal announce that they are creating 100 new jobs in Dublin. The jobs are in the area area of customer service and operations. No development or technical roles.


WorldNet TPS announce NetStart aimed at start up merchants. The package has no setup fees and costs €30 per month. Charges don't start until your web site has completed sales.

 

Irish Reporting and Information Security Service (IRISS) announce its first annual conference to be held on 19th of November 2009 in Dublin. In parallel to speaking sessions there will be Ireland's first Cyber Security Challenge - HackEire. 10 teams will complete against each other in a controlled environment to exploit weaknesses in a number of systems.

 

Irish startup Lucey Technology launch a cloud-computing service aimed at helping businesses improve their online customer engagement. The service includes an online payments offering that offers all businesses the opportunity to process credit card transactions at 1.24%.
