3V Transaction Services, the guys behind the 3V vouchers have launched their pay-as-you-go Visa voucher product in Canada. They have also revealed their plans to offer the 3V pay-as-you-go Visa voucher in European countries through a partnership with Luxembourg Banque Ivik.

 

Twitter founder Jack Doresy has a new startup project - the Square iPhone Payment System. The system involves an iPhone app and an associated dongle that enables an iPhone or iPod touch to becine a mini credit card reader.

 

IRISS announce competition details of their Cyber Security Challenge - HackEire. This competition will take place as part of the 2009 IRISS Conference on Cybercrime.

 

An Apache web server misconfiguration exposes details of all connections and state information for the majority Twitter web servers. Twitter were quick to respond and block all access to the information. No long term harm done just a little embarrassment for Twitter.
