SecureTrading was founded in 1997 in Bangor, North Wales to address the demand for leading edge online payment technology, becoming one of the first independent internet payment service providers in the UK and as such grew quickly from its initial size.

In 1999, UC Group acquired SecureTrading and invested significantly in the infrastructure and the people. UC Group remains the parent company today and continues to actively support the business.

SecureTrading’s 30,000 sq m Operations Centre houses purpose built data centres for the payment gateways and servers. SecureTrading continued to expand and to support more merchants, whilst continuing to improve on our already excellent reputation. SecureTrading’s Head Office is based in Bromley, London, UK.

Although SecureTrading integrate with all the major UK banks and several international banks, they are not bank owned. SecureTrading is a profitable business which continues to grow on a monthly basis.
